Code of Conduct
At
The Sentry Box, we’re all about having fun playing games. We strive to maintain
a safe, pleasant, fun environment for everyone. While visiting our store and
property, we ask you to follow these rules:
Respect Others and Their Property
Don’t disrupt other customer’s shopping or gaming. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Don’t touch or move other’s belongings (miniatures, games, bags, etc.) without their permission.
No Harassment or Bullying
Any form of harassment, whether that’s based on gender identity/expression, race, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, religion or any other characteristic will not be tolerated. Treat our staff and your fellow visitors with respect. The Sentry Box is a safe and inclusive space where everyone should feel welcome.
Play Fair
Games stop being fun when players break the rules to win. Be a good sport and treat your fellow players with honesty and respect.
Avoid Profanity
We understand that in the heat of the game you might blurt out something rude, but The Sentry Box is a family-friendly store so please watch your language.
Be Presentable
Wearing of obscene, hateful, demeaning, or overly revealing attire is not allowed. If you haven’t taken a shower or washed your clothes in a while, you may need to leave and do so.
No Drugs or Alcohol
You’re not allowed to consume or be under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs on Sentry Box property. Smoking or vaping on store property is not permitted.
No Weapons
We prohibit all concealed or visible weapons by all persons other than law enforcement officers.
No Selling or Soliciting
Without our permission, conducting business or setting up off-site deals is not allowed.
Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in offenders being directed to leave the store, forfeit of event entrance fees or prizes, temporary or permanent bans from our premises, or other actions deemed suitable by our staff within the bounds of this Code and the law. We will inform law enforcement if we believe a crime is or has taken place.
The judgement of our staff will be the last word in applying this policy. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave our premises at any time for any reason.
